I hope all 3rd grade students and their families had a great break! Unfortunately, the weather MAY prevent some of you from getting to school this week - but hopefully it will not be as cold as predicted. As always, we have to be flexible if that happens, so right now we'll just plan as though it were a normal week, and make adjustments if the weather turns so cold that some students can't make it in. Obviously there will be NO outside recess when it is so cold, but please make sure you are all safe and dressing warmly to come to school.
I wanted to let parents know that I am scheduled to do some some training for Northway and Tetlin teachers on Friday, January 9th, so I won't be in the classroom on that day. We've been having fantastic luck with subs in our class so far, so I'm not worried. The kids are great at keeping things running while I am gone. They know exactly what to do and they keep busy!
